When using our Facebook page, personal data is processed. Below, you will be informed about the type and scope of data processing for which we are responsible in terms of data protection in this context.

As the responsible party of this page, we have made agreements with Facebook, which among other things, regulate the conditions for using the Facebook page.

For what purpose is your Data processed when visiting our Facebook page and on what legal basis?

Independent processing of usage data by Facebook

When you visit our Facebook page or other subpages of www.facebook.com, Facebook collects usage data. For these data processing activities, Facebook is principally solely responsible for data protection. Facebook provides information about this in its Facebook Data Policy and the Cookie Policy.

Processing of usage data in joint responsibility of Facebook and CONCEPT X GmbH & Co. KG

When you visit our Facebook page, Facebook uses certain usage data (e.g., whether you have liked or commented on certain posts from us) to provide us with aggregated usage statistics (so-called “Page Insights”). Usage statistics do not allow us to draw conclusions about the behavior of individual users, but only give us an overview of the use of our Facebook page (e.g., which posts were clicked on particularly often). We ourselves do not have access to the personal data processed for the creation of these statistics. Facebook alone determines which user actions are logged and cannot be set up, changed, or otherwise influenced by us.

We receive the usage statistics created by Facebook for our Facebook page in order to improve the posts published there and make them as interesting as possible for users. The processing is based on a balancing of interests according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, which always also considers your interests. If you are registered on Facebook, the processing according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR also takes place in accordance with the terms of use that apply between you and Facebook.

For the processing of personal data for the creation of these usage statistics, Facebook and we are joint controllers according to Art. 26 GDPR.

The information on Facebook Page Insights describes which data is processed in the context of joint responsibility and contains the “Page Insights Supplement”, in which Facebook and we have contractually determined who fulfills which obligations under the GDPR.
